Eagle Heights Baptist Church of Harrison, Arkansas,
officially came into existence August 28, 1949; its
start actually began as early as 1926. Records indicate
that during this time a group of individuals, all members
of a Women’s Mission Study group of First Baptist
Church of Harrison, met regularly in their homes, praying
for the spiritual needs of the community in which they
lived known as Eagle Heights. Over time these prayers
produced fruit when, in 1943, First Baptist Church began
holding a series of tent meetings in the Eagle Heights
area. The following year First Baptist Church sponsored
Calvary Mission, later to become Eagle Heights Baptist
Church.

Eagle Heights exists to proclaim the life changing message
of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus' life,
death, and resurrection that provides the only way for
a person to have eternal life. Jesus says in John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the
truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me’.” If you have an opportunity
